What makes the Premier different

The Premier uses the same Zeiss AxioImager M2m stand, stage, joystick and camera as the Professional, with a few deliberate savings that bring the price within the budget limits laboratories so often quote us — so you can run a fully automated system now, not in three funding cycles' time.

• Epiplan objectives at 10×, 20× and 50× — high-quality glass, perfectly suited to FTD work, in place of the Epiplan-Neofluar types
• The critical 100× objective stays a full Epiplan-Neofluar — exactly as on the DeLuxe and Professional. This is the objective your results depend on, so we do not compromise it
• User-controlled upgrade path: swap the Epiplan objectives for Epiplan-Neofluar types yourself, at any time, without our intervention
• 2.5× and 5× objectives omitted — our pre-marked coordination slides let the 10× objective handle coordination automatically

The automated counting capability is identical to the other two systems. Nothing about the Premier limits the science — it simply defers optical refinements until funding arrives, and lets you fit them yourself when it does.

Included with every Trakscan Plus system

• Fission TrackStudio — TrackWorks (capture) and FastTracks (analysis anywhere in the world), developed jointly with the University of Melbourne, with fully automated track counting for both EDM and LA-ICP-MS workflows
• Zeiss stepper-motor stage and joystick, connecting directly to the microscope — no external controller; a Piezo-motor stage upgrade is available
• Slide handling: standard Zeiss holder plus two patented Autoscan holders accepting a variety of slide sizes
• IDS digital colour camera — 4 MP, 12-bit, up to 75 fps — with matched C-mount
• Pre-configured high-performance PC with all microscope, stage, camera and analysis software installed and tested
• Installation, calibration and training by Autoscan at your laboratory
