Autoscan Systems Pty. Ltd. — terms applying to domestic and international orders.
A deposit of 50% of the full purchase price must be lodged with the order, in Australian Dollar funds. Banking details are provided on our quotation / proforma invoice, or on request.
Payment of the remaining 50% of the purchase price is required prior to shipment of goods. Title to the goods does not pass to the customer until full payment has been received.
The quoted price does not include sales tax, which is payable by the purchaser if applicable.
A deposit of 50% of the full purchase price must be lodged with the order, in Australian funds. The preferred method of lodgement is telegraphic transfer in Australian funds; account details are provided on our quotation / proforma invoice. (No IBAN number is required for transfers to Australia.)
Payment of the remaining 50% is required prior to shipment. Title to the goods does not pass until full payment has been received. As an alternative, payment of 100% on shipment by Letter of Credit is offered, subject to a 15% surcharge to cover cost of funds (see 2.4 for L/C conditions). The L/C must be a confirmed, irrevocable L/C payable at sight, in favour of Autoscan Systems Pty. Ltd., 4/293 Bay Street, Brighton VIC 3186, Australia, payable at an agreed Australian bank in Australian Dollar funds.
Customs clearance on arrival is to be arranged by the purchaser. Any local customs charges or taxes are to the purchaser's account.

The L/C must be opened within 30 days of lodgement of order and deposit.
Shipment is estimated to be within 180 days of receipt of order and deposit. Consignment is to the nearest customs-clearing airport via standard air freight.
All prices quoted are firm for 30 days from the date of the proforma invoice / quotation and are thereafter subject to variation. Prices remain firm if the order is received within 30 days. Invoices not paid within 30 days attract interest at 10% above the prevailing base rate, calculated weekly.
Autoscan Systems Pty. Ltd. will repair or replace, at its discretion, defective special-purpose components that do not carry their own warranties, free of charge — provided the customer bears the cost of freight to and from Autoscan Systems, and our inspection shows the defect to be due to a material or production fault. This warranty is valid for 12 months from the original shipment date of the equipment. Manufacturers' warranties (typically 90 days) apply to bought-in components.
Important: cartons must be left unopened in the laboratory until our technician arrives for installation, training and checking (in the presence of the client) that all goods have been delivered. If cartons are opened earlier by the client or an agent, all warranties are void.
In no event will Autoscan Systems Pty. Ltd. be liable for any damages — including incidental or consequential damages — arising from the use of, or inability to use, our equipment, even if Autoscan Systems has been advised of the possibility of such damages, nor for any claim by any other party.
Autoscan Systems Pty. Ltd. owns all intellectual property rights to the Autoscan custom products being sold.
